Prevention of diphtheria & tetanus for adults & childn ≥7 yr.
Quinvaxem Inj. dosage
2 primary doses of 0.5 mL at least 4 wk apart, followed by the 3rd dose 6-12 mth later. IM Protection of the newborn against tetanus 5-dose schedule is recommended for women of childbearing age: After the basic 3-dose course, give 2 booster doses at least 1 yr after the previous dose or during the subsequent pregnancy.

Inflammation at the site of inj, transient fever, malaise & irritability.

History of severe reaction to diphtheria & tetanus vaccine.
