Advil Zatoki Sprint is generally well tolerated by the majority of people, however, the following adverse effects, where observed, are usually of a mild and transient nature: Stomach discomfort or pain, nausea, gastrointestinal intolerance and bleeding, stomach ulcer, activation of peptic ulcer, black tarry stools, rashes or worsening of asthma, liver and kidney problems [cystitis, haematuria, acute renal failure, interstitial nephritis and nephritic syndrome (caplet only)], headache, dizziness and hearing disturbance, and very rarely, skin peeling and easy bruising.

What is the most important information I should know about Advil Zatoki Sprint?

Always ask a doctor before giving a cough or cold medicine to a child. Death can occur from the misuse of cough and cold medicines in very young children.

Do not use Advil Zatoki Sprint if you have used an MAO inhibitor such as furazolidone (Furoxone), isocarboxazid (Marplan), phenelzine (Nardil), rasagiline (Azilect), selegiline (Eldepryl, Emsam, Zelapar), or tranylcypromine (Parnate) within the past 14 days.

Ibuprofen (Advil Zatoki Sprint) may cause life-threatening heart or circulation problems such as heart attack or stroke, especially if you use it long term. Do not use this medication just before or after heart bypass surgery (coronary artery bypass graft, or CABG).

Get emergency medical help if you have chest pain, weakness, shortness of breath, slurred speech, or problems with vision or balance.

Ibuprofen (Advil Zatoki Sprint) may also cause serious effects on the stomach or intestines, including bleeding or perforation (forming of a hole). These conditions can be fatal and can occur without warning while you are taking Ibuprofen (Advil Zatoki Sprint), especially in older adults.

Call your doctor at once if you have symptoms of stomach bleeding such as black, bloody, or tarry stools, or coughing up blood or vomit that looks like coffee grounds.

Do not take more of this medication than is recommended. An overdose of Ibuprofen (Advil Zatoki Sprint) can cause damage to your stomach or intestines.

Advil Zatoki Sprint contraindications

Hypersensitivity to aspirin, Ibuprofen (Advil Zatoki Sprint) or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) or to any of the excipients of Advil Zatoki Sprint. Patients in whom aspirin and other NSAIDs induce the symptoms of asthma, rhinitis and/or urticaria. Patients with severe heart failure and for the treatment of perioperative pain in the setting of coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery. History of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation, related to previous NSAIDs therapy; active or history of recurrent peptic ulcer/haemorrhage.
