Pregnancy of Ba Tai in details
Ba Tai has been assigned to pregnancy category B by the FDA. Animal studies using doses up to 146 times the normal human dose failed to reveal evidence of fetal harm. There are no controlled data in human pregnancy; however, data available suggest Ba Tai use in human pregnancy is not associated with fetal toxicity or teratogenicity. Ba Tai is only recommended for use during pregnancy when there are no alternatives and benefit outweighs risk.

Ba Tai breastfeeding
There are no data on the excretion of Ba Tai into human milk. However, because of its low molecular, Ba Tai may likely be excreted into milk. The manufacturer recommends that caution be used when administering Ba Tai to nursing women.
