Pregnancy of Bili in details
Bili has been assigned to pregnancy category B by the FDA. Animal studies using doses up to 146 times the normal human dose failed to reveal evidence of fetal harm. There are no controlled data in human pregnancy; however, data available suggest Bili use in human pregnancy is not associated with fetal toxicity or teratogenicity. Bili is only recommended for use during pregnancy when there are no alternatives and benefit outweighs risk.

There are no data on the excretion of Bili into human milk. However, because of its low molecular, Bili may likely be excreted into milk. The manufacturer recommends that caution be used when administering Bili to nursing women.
