In case when cough is still persist or becomes resistant on the treatment by clobutinol chlorhydrate, the clinical situation of the patient should be shacked to recognize the fundemental cause of cough.
It is illogical to associate an expectorant or mucolytic agents with antitusive drug.
The recommended dosages should not be increased since neuropsychic adverse reactions may occur especially in depressed patients.
