What are the possible side effects of Cooling Gel?
Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Wash the skin and get medical attention right away if you have severe burning, pain, swelling, or blistering of the skin where you applied this medication.
Less serious side effects may include a mild cold or burning sensation.

Side effects of Cooling Gel in details
Redness, warmth, stinging, or burning on the application site may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, contact your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
If your doctor has directed you to use this medication, remember that he or she has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects.
Stop using this medication and tell your doctor right away if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: blistering/swelling/severe redness at the application site, increased/unusual pain at the application site, nausea/vomiting, ringing in the ears.
A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.

What is the most important information I should know about Cooling Gel?
Use and store this medication only as directed. Follow all directions on your medicine label and packaging
If this medication gets in your eyes, nose, or mouth, rinse with water.
Do not use on irritated skin. Do not cover treated skin with a bandage or expose it to heat. Do not apply the medicine within 1 hour before or 30 minutes after you take a bath or shower.
Call your doctor if you still have pain after 7 days of treatment, or if the pain goes away and then comes back within a few days.
Cooling Gel contraindications
Active peptic ulcer; pregnancy (3rd trimester), hypersensitivity to aspirin and other NSAIDs; treatment of perioperative pain in CABG surgery; severe renal impairment; rectal admin in patients with proctitis and haemorrhoids; neonates with necrotizing enterocolitis, active bleeding, thrombocytopenia, coagulation defects and untreated infections.
