An overdose of vaginal Cremor Acidi Borici is not expected to be dangerous. Seek emergency medical attention or call the Poison Help line at 1-800-222-1222 if anyone has accidentally swallowed the medication.
What should I avoid while taking Cremor Acidi Borici?
Do not use Cremor Acidi Borici ophthalmic while you are wearing contact lenses. This medication may contain a preservative that can be absorbed by soft contact lenses and cause discoloration. Wait at least 15 minutes after using Cremor Acidi Borici ophthalmic before putting your contact lenses in.
Cremor Acidi Borici ophthalmic is for use only in the eyes. Do not allow the medicine to get in your mouth, nose, or ears. Avoid getting this medication on any skin wound or abrasion.
Cremor Acidi Borici warnings
Do not use if you have ear drainage, ear pain, irritation, dizziness, an injury/perforation (hole) of the ear drum, or after ear surgery unless directed by a doctor.
Avoid contact with the eyes.
Discontinue use and consult a doctor if undue irritation or sensitivity occurs.
Keep away from fire or flame.
Do not use if imprinted foil safety seal is broken or missing when purchased.
In case of accidental ingestion, seek professional assistance or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children.
What should I discuss with my healthcare provider before taking Cremor Acidi Borici?
You should not use this medicine if you are allergic to it, or if you have:

pain or tenderness in your pelvis or lower stomach;

fever, chills, nausea;
-
vaginal bleeding;
-
pelvic inflammatory disease;
-
an active sexually transmitted disease;
-
high blood pressure;
-
heart disease;
-
a weak immune system (caused by disease or by using certain medicine);
-
blood vessel disorder; or
-
if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
It is not known whether this medicine will harm an unborn baby. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant.
Vaginal Cremor Acidi Borici will not prevent pregnancy and should not be used as a form of birth control.
It is not known whether vaginal Cremor Acidi Borici passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing baby. You should not breast-feed while using this medicine.
Vaginal Cremor Acidi Borici is not approved for use by anyone younger than 12 years old.
Cremor Acidi Borici precautions
Should not be used for self-medication of jock itch for longer than 2 wk and athlete's foot or ringworm for longer than 4 wk Do not use in conjunction with ophthalmic solutions containing polyvinyl alcohol.
What happens if I miss a dose of Cremor Acidi Borici?
Since Cremor Acidi Borici ophthalmic is used only when needed, you are not likely to be on a dosing schedule. If your condition does not improve after using Cremor Acidi Borici ophthalmic, ask your doctor before using a second dose of this medication.
