Emend IV 止敏吐I.V. indications
Prevention of acute & delayed nausea & vomiting associated w/ highly emetogenic cisplatin-based cancer chemotherapy.
Emend IV 止敏吐I.V. dosage
150 mg IV infusion over 20-30 min on day 1. Initiate approx 30 min prior to chemotherapy. Administer in conjunction w/ corticosteroid & 5-HT3 antagonist.
Emend IV 止敏吐I.V. interactions
Transient increased in plasma conc w/ drugs metabolized through CYP3A4 eg cyclosporine, tacrolimus, sirolimus, everolimus, alfentanil, diergotamine, ergotamine, fentanyl, quinidine. Transient moderate increased & mild exposure of immunosuppressants metabolized by CYP3A4. Increased plasma conc of midazolam or other benzodiazepines metabolized via CYP3A4 eg alprazolam, triazolam. Warfarin, acenocoumarol, tolbutamide, phenytoin & other drugs metabolized by CYP2C9.
Emend IV 止敏吐I.V. side effects
Hiccups, increased ALT, dyspepsia, constipation, headache, decreased appetite, fatigue.
Emend IV 止敏吐I.V. contraindications
Hypersensitivity to Emend IV 止敏吐I.V., polysorbate 80. Co-administration w/ pimozide, terfenadine, astemizole, cisapride. Lactation.
