Etoxin-B FORTE indications

Etoxin-B FORTE is useful in the treatment of cough associated with chronic bronchitis, emphysema and bronchial asthma.

Etoxin-B FORTE dosage

Adult: 10ml tid; Child 3-6 yrs: 2.5-5ml; Child >6 yrs: 5-10ml. Both tid depending upon severity & response.

Etoxin-B FORTE interactions

Concomitant use of Etoxin-B FORTE with other sympathomimetic agents may lead to deleterious cardiovascular effects.

Etoxin-B FORTE side effects

Etoxin-B FORTE is generally well tolerated. Reported side effects aretremor, irritability, insomnia, anorexia, nausea, vomiting, bradycardia, palpitation, paradoxical bronchoconstriction.

Etoxin-B FORTE contraindications

Etoxin-B FORTE is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitvity to the ingredients, cardiac patients with associated arrhythmia, ischaemic heart disease and acute hypertensive patients, patients undergoing anaesthesia,patients on MAOI’s therapy, first trimester of pregnancy, acute porphyria, thyrotoxicosis.
