Active immunization against hepatitis B.
Purified HBsAg dosage
Adult & adolescent ≥10 yr 20 mcg/dose. Neonate, infant & childn <10 yr 10 mcg/dose. All doses to be given by IM inj at 0, 1, 6 mth or 0, 1, 2+ booster at 12 mth.
Purified HBsAg interactions
Immunosuppressants.
Purified HBsAg side effects
Mild soreness, erythema, induration, fatigue, fever, malaise & influenza-like symptoms.
