What happens if I overdose Mucolar 250?

Proper storage of Mucolar 250 chewable tablets:

Store Mucolar 250 chewable tablets at room temperature, between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C). Store away from heat, moisture, and light. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep Mucolar 250 chewable tablets out of the reach of children and away from pets.

Cases of overdosage with Mucolar 250 have not been reported. In case of overdosage, the patient should have nausea and vomiting. If vomiting does not occur, it can be induced by conventional means, including gastric lavage.

Mucolar 250 warnings

carbocisteine should not be taken by people with an active peptic ulcer and should be used with caution in those with a history of peptic ulcers and in pregnant women.

Patients with a history of peptic ulcer should be examined to exclude the presence of an active ulcer before administering Mucolar 250.

Mucolar 250: Use of antitussive agents concomitantly with Mucolar 250 is not recommended.

Be cautious in use of Mucolar 250 due to 5% alcohol content.

Mucolar 250 Kids: During the treatment, patients should be reminded to expect an increase in the flow of secretion.

Use in pregnancy: Although animal testing demonstrated no teratogenic effect, the safe use of Mucolar 250 in pregnancy has not been established.
