Naraya Plus is a combined oral contraceptive. Each active tablet contains a small quantity of 2 different female hormones called Drospirenone (Naraya Plus) (a progestogen) and Ethinylestradiol (Naraya Plus) (an estrogen). Drospirenone (Naraya Plus) possess antiandrogenic and mild antimineralocorticoid properties. The contraceptive effect of Drospirenone (Naraya Plus) and Ethinylestradiol (Naraya Plus) is based on the interaction of various factors eg, the inhibition of ovulation and changes in the endometrium.
