What other drugs will affect Neo-Istafene?
Taking Neo-Istafene with other drugs that make you sleepy or slow your breathing can increase these effects. Ask your doctor before taking Neo-Istafene with a sleeping pill, narcotic pain medicine, muscle relaxer, or medicine for anxiety, depression, or seizures.
Tell your doctor about all medicines you use, and those you start or stop using during your treatment with Neo-Istafene, especially:

-
terbinafine; or
-
the antidepressants bupropion, duloxetine, fluoxetine, paroxetine, or sertraline.

Neo-Istafene interactions
There may be increased CNS depression when Neo-Istafene is administered concurrently with other CNS depressants, including alcohol, tranquilizers, and sedatives.
Based on in-vitro evaluation, Neo-Istafene is metabolized by CYP2D6. Therefore there is a possibility for a drug interaction between Neo-Istafene and CYP2D6 inhibitors.
