What is the most important information I should know about Neston?
- Neston may cause drowsiness. Do not drive, operate machinery, or do anything else that could be dangerous until you know how you react to Neston. Using Neston alone, with certain other medicines, or with alcohol may lessen your ability to drive or perform other potentially dangerous tasks.
- PREGNANCY and BREAST-FEEDING: If you become pregnant while taking Neston, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using Neston during pregnancy. It is unknown if Neston is excreted in breast milk. If you are or will be breast-feeding while you are using Neston, check with your doctor or pharmacist to discuss the risks to your baby.
Neston contraindications
L-Neston is contraindicated in those with the genetic disorder homocystinuria. It is also contraindicated in those who are hypersensitive to any component of a Neston-containing product.
