What are the possible side effects of Benzoin (One Time Compound Benzoin)?

Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); fever; persistent or worsening irritation, pain, or redness.

What is the most important information I should know about Benzoin (One Time Compound Benzoin)?
- Avoid getting Benzoin (One Time Compound Benzoin) in your eyes or nose.
- Do NOT exceed the recommended dose or use Benzoin (One Time Compound Benzoin) for more than 7 days without checking with your doctor.
- If your symptoms do not improve within 7 days, or if they get worse, contact your doctor or dentist.
- Benzoin (One Time Compound Benzoin) may be harmful if swallowed. Do not swallow Benzoin (One Time Compound Benzoin). If you accidentally swallow Benzoin (One Time Compound Benzoin) seek medical attention or contact a poison control center immediately.
- Benzoin (One Time Compound Benzoin) is flammable. Keep it away from sparks, heat, and flames.
- Supervise CHILDREN younger than 12 years of age when they use Benzoin (One Time Compound Benzoin).
- Benzoin (One Time Compound Benzoin) is not recommended for use in CHILDREN younger than 6 months of age. Safety and effectiveness in this age group have not been confirmed.
