Side effects of Polycrol 400 in details
All medicines may cause side effects, but many people have no, or minor, side effects. Check with your doctor if any of these most COMMON side effects persist or become bothersome:
Diarrhea.
Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects occur:
Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); loss of appetite; muscle weakness; nausea; slow reflexes; vomiting.
Polycrol 400 contraindications
Polycrol 400 should not be used in patients who are severally suffering from renal insufficiency, or if there is severe abdominal pain and / or the possibility of bowel obstruction.
Polycrol 400 chewable tablets contain phenylalanine and should not be given to phenylketonurics patients.
