What is the most important information I should know about Rhodimet NP 99?
- Rhodimet NP 99 may cause drowsiness. Do not drive, operate machinery, or do anything else that could be dangerous until you know how you react to Rhodimet NP 99. Using Rhodimet NP 99 alone, with certain other medicines, or with alcohol may lessen your ability to drive or perform other potentially dangerous tasks.
- PREGNANCY and BREAST-FEEDING: If you become pregnant while taking Rhodimet NP 99, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using Rhodimet NP 99 during pregnancy. It is unknown if Rhodimet NP 99 is excreted in breast milk. If you are or will be breast-feeding while you are using Rhodimet NP 99, check with your doctor or pharmacist to discuss the risks to your baby.
Rhodimet NP 99 contraindications
L-Rhodimet NP 99 is contraindicated in those with the genetic disorder homocystinuria. It is also contraindicated in those who are hypersensitive to any component of a Rhodimet NP 99-containing product.
