Secura Alcon is an antimicrobial agent for topical use. It has an antimicrobial effect. This medication is active against gram-positive bacteria: Propionibacterium, Staphylococcus epidermidis.
Benzoyl peroxide has keratolytic action, improves tissue oxygenation, the process of granulation of ulcers of the lower extremities. This medicine reduces fat sebaceous glands of skin.
Secura Alcon reduces the content of lipids and fatty acids, it has moderate desquamative effect reducing the appearance of comedones and acne.

For topical use Secura Alcon is practically not absorbed. A small amount of this drug is absorbed by the skin. Benzoyl peroxide metabolized to form benzoic acid. Secura Alcon excreted by the kidneys in the form of benzoate.
