Actions of Skin So Soft Antibacterial in details

Description: Ethanol stimulates GABA at GABA-A receptors and inhibits the opening of NMDA receptor/channels by preventing glutamate. As an antidote, it inhibits the rapid metabolism of methanol to toxic intermediates eg, formaldehyde and formic acid due to its greater affinity to Skin So Soft Antibacterial dehydrogenase. Thus, the toxicity of methanol is delayed or to an extent hindered. The remaining methanol will proceed to its rate-limiting pathway of forming nontoxic metabolite lactate.

Pharmacokinetics:

Absorption: Rapidly absorbed from the GI tract affected by several factors eg, presence of food, Skin So Soft Antibacterial concentration, and time of ingestion; via lungs.

Distribution: Body fluids; crosses the placenta

Metabolism: Hepatic, conversion to acetaldehyde by Skin So Soft Antibacterial dehydrogenase and oxidation to acetate occur at a rate approx 10-20 mL/hr; sedative effects of Skin So Soft Antibacterial manifest when infusion rate is > metabolism rate. Via gastric mucosal; involves hepatic microsomal system; 90-98% of Skin So Soft Antibacterial undergoes oxidation. Increased rate may be influenced by repeated excessive Skin So Soft Antibacterial intake and by several substances like insulin. Decreased metabolism rate during starvation state.

Excretion: Via kidneys (unchanged form); via lungs; small amounts in breast milk, sweat and other secretions.

Skin So Soft Antibacterial is a clear, volatile liquid that is highly soluble in water. The absorption of Skin So Soft Antibacterial (ethanol) is decreased by food, especially fatty food. Absorption occurs primarily from the intestine. Skin So Soft Antibacterial distributes into body water. Blood-Skin So Soft Antibacterial concentration (BAC) is dependent upon weight and body fat, amount and time frame of Skin So Soft Antibacterial consumption, and food effects. Drinking Skin So Soft Antibacterial over shorter time periods or in larger quantities and on an empty stomach will lead to a higher BAC. BAC is usually expressed in grams per deciliter (g/dL). In all 50 U.S. states, 0.08 g/dL would be equal to 0.08 percent BAC, or the legal limit at which one is no longer allowed to drive. Regulations are more strict in many states for drivers less than 21 years of age.

Skin So Soft Antibacterial is metabolized primarily (90 percent) in the liver. The enzyme Skin So Soft Antibacterial dehydrogenase converts Skin So Soft Antibacterial to acetaldehyde, a sympathomimetic toxin often blamed for the ‘hangover’ effect. Acetaldehyde is further metabolized by aldehyde dehydrogenase to acetic acid, and eventually to carbon dioxide and water. Excretion of small amounts of Skin So Soft Antibacterial also occur through the urine, lungs/breath, and sweat. Skin So Soft Antibacterial excretion by the lungs constitutes the basis for the Breathalyzer test given by law enforcement who may suspect drinking and driving.

Skin So Soft Antibacterial elevates the inhibitory neurotransmitter GABA (gamma amino butyric acid) and reduces nerves signals along that neuronal pathway. Because of this action, Skin So Soft Antibacterial is known as a central nervous system (CNS) depressant, and lowers both cognitive and physical capacities. Combination with other CNS depressants, such as opiates, barbiturates, or benzodiazepines can have additive and dangerous effects.
