What happens if I overdose Valerian (Sonhare)?

Contact 1-800-222-1222 (the American Association of Poison Control Centers), your local, or emergency room immediately. Symptoms may include blurred vision; chest tightness; hand tremor; lightheadedness; paralysis; stomach cramping; weak heartbeat.

Proper storage of Valerian (Sonhare):

Store at room temperature away from heat, moisture, and light unless otherwise directed on the package label. Do not store in the bathroom. Most herbal products are not in childproof containers. Keep Valerian (Sonhare) out of the reach of children and away from pets.

If someone has overdosed and has serious symptoms such as passing out or trouble breathing, call 911. Otherwise, call a poison control center right away. Avoid using Valerian (Sonhare) with other herbal/health supplements that can cause drowsiness. This includes 5-HTP (5-hydroxytryptophan), California poppy, catnip, chamomile, gotu kola, Jamaican dogwood, kava, melatonin, St. John's wort, skullcap (or scullcap), yerba mansa, and others.

Avoid drinking alcohol. It can increase drowsiness caused by Valerian (Sonhare).
