What happens if I overdose Strongid-P?
Contact 1-800-222-1222 (the American Association of Poison Control Centers), your local, or emergency room immediately.
Proper storage of Strongid-P chewable tablets:
Store Strongid-P chewable tablets at room temperature, between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C). Store away from heat, moisture, and light. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep Strongid-P chewable tablets out of the reach of children and away from pets.
What should I avoid while taking Strongid-P?
Treatment of family members and other close contacts may be necessary. Pinworm is spread very easily to others in close contact with the infected person.
To prevent reinfection, toilets must be disinfected daily, and clothing, linens, towels, and pajamas must be changed and washed daily.
Use caution when driving, operating machinery, or performing other hazardous activities. Strongid-P may cause dizziness. If you experience dizziness, avoid these activities.
Strongid-P warnings
Tell your doctor your medical history, especially: liver disease, malnutrition, anemia, any allergies. Use caution performing tasks requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery if this medication makes you drowsy or dizzy. Strongid-P should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. It is not known if Strongid-P is excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
What should I discuss with my healthcare provider before taking Strongid-P?
Some medical conditions may interact with Strongid-P chewable tablets. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have any medical conditions, especially if any of the following apply to you:
- if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding
- if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement
- if you have allergies to medicines, foods, or other substances
- if you have worms other than pinworms
- if others in your home also have pinworms
- if you have liver problems or phenylketonuria
- if you weigh less than 24 lbs (11 kg)
Some MEDICINES MAY INTERACT with Strongid-P chewable tablets. However, no specific interactions with Strongid-P chewable tablets are known at this time.
This may not be a complete list of all interactions that may occur. Ask your health care provider if Strongid-P chewable tablets may interact with other medicines that you take. Check with your health care provider before you start, stop, or change the dose of any medicine.

What happens if I miss a dose of Strongid-P?
Since Strongid-P is usually taken in one dose, you are not likely to miss a dose.
