What are the possible side effects of Tusq- X- LIQ?
Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Call your doctor at once if you have:

wheezing, choking, or other breathing problems after using Tusq- X- LIQ;
-
chest pain, fast heart rate;
-
pounding heartbeats or fluttering in your chest;
-
a light-headed feeling, like you might pass out;
-
a seizure;
-
low potassium level--leg cramps, constipation, irregular heartbeats, fluttering in your chest, increased thirst or urination, numbness or tingling, muscle weakness or limp feeling;
-
tremors; or
-
worsening or no improvement in your symptoms.
Common side effects may include:
-
fast or pounding heartbeats;
-
chest pain;
-
nervousness, tremor;
-
drowsiness; or
-
headache.

In addition to its needed effects, some unwanted effects may be caused by Tusq- X- LIQ (the active ingredient contained in Tusq- X- LIQ). In the event that any of these side effects do occur, they may require medical attention.
Major Side Effects
You should check with your doctor immediately if any of these side effects occur when taking Tusq- X- LIQ:
More common:
- Shakiness in the legs, arms, hands, or feet
- trembling or shaking of the hands or feet
- Extra heartbeat
- feeling faint, dizzy, or lightheadedness
- feeling of warmth or heat
- flushing or redness of the skin, especially on the face and neck
- headache
- sweating
- Burning, crawling, itching, numbness, prickling, "pins and needles", or tingling feelings
- excessive muscle tone
- muscle stiffness
- muscle tension or tightness
If any of the following symptoms of overdose occur while taking Tusq- X- LIQ, get emergency help immediately:
Symptoms of overdose:
- Arm, back, or jaw pain
- blurred vision
- chest pain or discomfort
- chest tightness or heaviness
- confusion
- convulsions
- decreased urine
- dizziness
- dizziness, faintness, or lightheadedness when getting up suddenly from a lying or sitting position
- dry mouth
- fainting
- fast, pounding, or irregular heartbeat or pulse
- general feeling of discomfort or illness
- increased thirst
- loss of appetite
- mood changes
- muscle pain or cramps
- nausea or vomiting
- nervousness
- numbness or tingling in the hands, feet, or lips
- pounding in the ears
- seizures
- shortness of breath
- sleeplessness
- slow or fast heartbeat
- trouble sleeping
- unable to sleep
- unusual tiredness or weakness
Minor Side Effects
Some of the side effects that can occur with Tusq- X- LIQ may not need medical attention. As your body adjusts to the medicine during treatment these side effects may go away. Your health care professional may also be able to tell you about ways to reduce or prevent some of these side effects. If any of the following side effects continue, are bothersome or if you have any questions about them, check with your health care professional:
More common:
- Sleepiness or unusual drowsiness
- Anxiety
- lack or loss of strength
- Fever
- rash
- redness, soreness, or itching skin
- seeing, hearing, or feeling things that are not there
- sores, welting, or blisters
What is the most important information I should know about Tusq- X- LIQ?
- Tusq- X- LIQ tablets may cause drowsiness or dizziness. These effects may be worse if you take it with alcohol or certain medicines. Use Tusq- X- LIQ tablets with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you react to it.
- Do NOT take more than the recommended dose or take more often than prescribed without checking with your doctor.
- If your breathing problems do not improve, if they get worse, or if you need to use Tusq- X- LIQ tablets more often than usual, contact your doctor immediately.
- Diabetes patients - Tusq- X- LIQ tablets may affect your blood sugar. Check blood sugar levels closely. Ask your doctor before you change the dose of your diabetes medicine.
- Check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking Tusq- X- LIQ tablets if you have taken an MAOI (eg, phenelzine) or a tricyclic antidepressant (eg, amitriptyline) within the last 2 weeks. The effects of these medicines are long lasting and may still interact with Tusq- X- LIQ tablets.
- Tusq- X- LIQ tablets should not be used in CHILDREN younger than 12 years; safety and effectiveness in these children have not been confirmed.
- PREGNANCY and BREAST-FEEDING: If you become pregnant, contact your doctor. You will need to discuss the benefits and risks of taking Tusq- X- LIQ tablets while you are pregnant. Do not use Tusq- X- LIQ tablets to treat or prevent premature labor. It is not known if Tusq- X- LIQ tablets is found in breast milk. If you are or will be breast-feeding while you take Tusq- X- LIQ tablets, check with your doctor. Discuss any possible risks to your baby.
Tusq- X- LIQ contraindications
- 1.
- Prolonged Tocolysis
Tusq- X- LIQ sulfate has not been approved for and should not be used for prolonged tocolysis (beyond 48-72 hours). In particular, Tusq- X- LIQ sulfate should not be used for maintenance tocolysis in the outpatient or home setting.

- Hypersensitivity
Tusq- X- LIQ sulfate injection is contraindicated in patients known to be hypersensitive to sympathomimetic amines or any component of this drug product.
