Pregnancy of Ysp Nospan in details

During pregnancy (especially in the I trimester) and lactation (breastfeeding) Ysp Nospan prescribed with caution, only in cases where the expected therapeutic effect for the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus or child.

Ysp Nospan breastfeeding

There are no data on the excretion of Ysp Nospan into human milk.

Based on the low molecular weight of Ysp Nospan some passage into breast milk probably occurs. However, maternal use of Ysp Nospan products that do not contain alcohol are probably safe to use during breast-feeding.
