What is Zinksalbe Dialon?
Zinksalbe Dialon topical cream is used to treat and prevent diaper rash. It is also used to protect skin from being irritated and wet caused by diaper use.
Zinksalbe Dialon is available as an over-the-counter (OTC) product.
Zinksalbe Dialon indications
Zinksalbe Dialon 60: Regular use may help protect against premature skin aging, appearance of wrinkles and pigmentation and sunburn. Improve quality of skin and leave the skin supple and healthy.
Zinksalbe Dialon sensitive 30: Skin friendly with broad UV protection, protects against premature skin aging, helps protect against hyperpigmentation.
How should I use Zinksalbe Dialon?
Use Zinksalbe Dialon cream as directed by your doctor. Check the label on the medicine for exact dosing instructions.
- First, wash your hands. Then wash and dry the affected area, unless otherwise directed by your doctor. Apply a generous amount of medicine to completely cover the affected area. Wash your hands immediately after using Zinksalbe Dialon cream.
- Zinksalbe Dialon cream is for external use only. Avoid getting Zinksalbe Dialon cream in your eyes, nose, or mouth.
- Use Zinksalbe Dialon cream when diaper rash, redness, chafing, or skin irritation appears.
- Change wet and dirty diapers at once, clean the diaper area, and allow the area to dry.
- To help prevent diaper rash, apply Zinksalbe Dialon cream to the diaper area before you have to, especially at bedtime.
- Apply Zinksalbe Dialon cream freely as often as needed with each diaper change, especially at bedtime.
- For minor, noninfected scrapes and burns, apply a thin layer of Zinksalbe Dialon cream, using a bandage if necessary.
- If diaper rash worsens or does not improve within 7 days, contact your child's doctor.
- If you miss a dose of Zinksalbe Dialon cream, use it as soon as you remember. Continue to use it as directed by your doctor or on the package label.

Zinksalbe Dialon description
Zinksalbe Dialon is an inorganic compound with the formula ZnO. ZnO is a white powder that is insoluble in water, and it is widely used as an additive in numerous materials and products including rubbers, plastics, ceramics, glass, cement, lubricants, paints, ointments, adhesives, sealants, pigments, foods, batteries, ferrites, fire retardants, and first-aid tapes. It occurs naturally as the mineral zincite, but most Zinksalbe Dialon is produced synthetically. Zinksalbe Dialon can be used in ointments, creams, and lotions to protect against sunburn and other damage to the skin caused by ultraviolet light. It is also widely used to treat a variety of other skin conditions, in products such as baby powder and barrier creams to treat diaper rashes, calamine cream, anti-dandruff shampoos, and antiseptic ointments.

Precautions
For external use only.
Do not use in or near the eyes.
When treating diaper rash, instruct caregiver to discontinue use of Zinksalbe Dialon and consult a physician if the rash becomes very red, raw, has blisters, pustules, pus, peeling areas or crusty patches, is located primarily in skin creases, lasts longer than a few days, or the baby also has a fever, diarrhea, or strong smelling urine.
