What are the possible side effects of Cera Sport?
Along with its needed effects, a medicine may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.
Check with your doctor as soon as possible if any of the following side effects occur:
Symptoms of too much sodium (salt) in the body
- Convulsions (seizures)
- dizziness
- fast heartbeat
- high blood pressure
- irritability
- muscle twitching
- restlessness
- swelling of feet or lower legs
- weakness
- Puffy eyelids
Some side effects may occur that usually do not need medical attention. These side effects may go away during treatment as your body adjusts to the medicine. Also, your health care professional may be able to tell you about ways to prevent or reduce some of these side effects. Side effects of Cera Sport in details
Hypernatraemia; thirst, reduced salivation and lachrymation, fever, tachycardia, hypertension, headache, dizziness, restlessness, irritability and weakness.
Potentially Fatal: Intra-amniotic inj of hypertonic solutions: Disseminated intravascular coagulation, renal necrosis, cervical and uterine lesions, pulmonary embolism, pneumonia and death.
What is the most important information I should know about Cera Sport?
- If vomiting, fever, stomach pain or bloating, or diarrhea that lasts longer than 24 hours occurs, check with your doctor.
- Some of these products contain phenylalanine. If you must have a diet that is low in phenylalanine, ask your pharmacist if it is in your product.
- Do not use Cera Sport in CHILDREN younger than 1 year old without first checking with your doctor.
- PREGNANCY and BREAST-FEEDING: If you become pregnant, contact your doctor. You will need to discuss the benefits and risks of using Cera Sport while you are pregnant. It is not known if Cera Sport is found in breast milk. If you are or will be breast-feeding while you use Cera Sport, check with your doctor. Discuss any possible risks to your baby.
Cera Sport contraindications
Conditions whereby admin of sodium chloride would be detrimental. Not to be used to induce emesis. Sustained release tablets: GI disorders associated with strictures or diverticula.
