What are the possible side effects of Dymetadrine?

Dizziness; excitability; headache; nausea; nervousness or anxiety; trouble sleeping; weakness.

Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); difficulty urinating; fast or irregular heartbeat; hallucinations; seizures; severe dizziness, lightheadedness, or headache; tremor.

OTC labeling: When used for self-medication, do not use if asthma is not confirmed by a health care provider; coadministration with a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) or 2 weeks after discontinuing an MAOI; hypersensitivity to Ephedrine (Dymetadrine), Guaifenesin (Dymetadrine), or any component of the formulation.
