Adult: Apply as a topical preparation at 3% or 3.5%.
Combec interactions
May enhance the effects of oral anticoagulants, phenytoin and sulphonylureas. May increase plasma concentrations of lithium, methotrexate, and cardiac glycosides. Increased risk of hyperkalaemia with ACE inhibitors and potassium-sparing diuretics. May reduce antihypertensive action of some antihypertensives such as ACE inhibitors. May increase the risk of convulsions with quinolones.
Combec side effects
Photosensitivity, acute protocolitis, gastrointestinal discomfort, nausea, and diarrhoea
Potentially Fatal: Hypersensitivity and asthma.
Combec contraindications
Hypersensitivity to aspirin or any other NSAIDs. Porphyria, active peptic ulceration.
