Escopinbr indications

Escopinbr is useful in the treatment of cough associated with chronic bronchitis, emphysema and bronchial asthma.

Escopinbr dosage

Adult: 10ml tid; Child 3-6 yrs: 2.5-5ml; Child >6 yrs: 5-10ml. Both tid depending upon severity & response.

Escopinbr interactions

Concomitant use of Escopinbr with other sympathomimetic agents may lead to deleterious cardiovascular effects.

Escopinbr side effects

Escopinbr is generally well tolerated. Reported side effects aretremor, irritability, insomnia, anorexia, nausea, vomiting, bradycardia, palpitation, paradoxical bronchoconstriction.

Escopinbr contraindications

Escopinbr is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitvity to the ingredients, cardiac patients with associated arrhythmia, ischaemic heart disease and acute hypertensive patients, patients undergoing anaesthesia,patients on MAOI’s therapy, first trimester of pregnancy, acute porphyria, thyrotoxicosis.
