Florgane indications
Florgane is a wide spectrum antibiotic effective against most gram positive and gram negative bacteria. It is used specially in treatment of respiratory and enteric infections of poultry caused by E.coli and other strains being sensitive to Florgane.
Florgane dosage
Florgane™ should be administered once by subcutaneous injection at a dose rate of 40 mg Florgane/kg body weight (6 mL/100 lb). Do not administer more than 15 mL at each site. The injection should be given only in the neck. Injection sites other than the neck have not been evaluated.

Florgane interactions
Florgane should not be used with thiamfenicol,chloramphenicol and aminoglycosids.
Florgane side effects
Transient inappetence, diarrhea, decreased water consumption, and injection site swelling have been associated with the use of Florgane in cattle. In addition, anaphylaxis and collapse have been reported post-approval with the use of another formulation of Florgane in cattle.
Florgane contraindications
Florgane should not be given to laying hens the eggs of which, are intended for human consumption.
